DÜV represents the common interests of the sector, fosters a good image of the profession and conveys the relevant quality standards to the public.

Starting out in the profession

DÜV supports interpreters, translators and terminologists who are entering the job market and provides them with advice on professional issues. It assigns experienced professional colleagues to guide those starting out on their careers.

Network

DÜV actively promotes dialogue among its members and provides the appropriate platforms and activities for this. A considerable number of members devote time to one of the association’s many committees or take on individual jobs for the association.

Information

DÜV members have access to the association’s Intranet which contains topical information, specialised tools and resources, publications, job vacancies, membership lists, and a great deal more.

Continuing education

DÜV organises its own continuing education offerings and informs its members directly of relevant courses and workshops held by the ZHAW.
